National Sales Manager

Mission State:
Maximize Sales and Profits

Product Line/Trade Channels:
SeaLife cameras and accessories to all key accounts in Non-Dive trade channels. Includes Photo, Consumer Electronics, Mass Merchandisers, Gift, Premium and other top retailers.

Expansion potential to include other Pioneer products (i.e. Steiner, Vero Vellini) and sales to international key accounts.

Objectives:
1. Develop and grow SeaLife business by targeting and selling to new key accounts.
2. Achieve or exceed sales and distribution goals as per marketing plan.
3. Develop and maintain effective, efficient and knowledgeable inside and outside sales force.

Responsibilities:
1. Achieve or exceed annual sales goals.

2. Develop, propose and maintain annual sales forecast, budgets and strategic sales plans.

3. Establish and maintain sales goals by rep/territory.

4. Develop and implement product sales programs, training programs and promotions to Marketing Director, and training of inside (CSR) and outside (reps) sales staff.

5. Develop, maintain and direct effective, efficient and knowledgeable sales force. Strive for peak sales performance at or below budgeted cost.

6. Develop and maintain distribution in accordance with marketing plans. Maintain distribution status and target lists.

7. Identify, develop and maintain close working relationship with key accounts.

8. Develop and maintain travel schedule and agenda to key accounts, shows and events. Includes travel with reps as well as travel for:

a. Competitive analysis research
b. Field training of retail personnel
c. Seminars at consumer events

9. Identify and propose effective marketing materials and tools required to maximize sales and profits.

10. Monitor and maintain wholesale prices as per budget and retail pricing as per MAP policy.

11. Develop and coordinate effective and efficient merchandising and promotional activity with customers.

12. Monitoring and evaluation of distribution, sell-through, market conditions, competition, product positioning in trade, sales force performance and other related performance data.

13. Identify and report market opportunities/problems.

14. Develop and propose sales strategies and actions based on marketing plan and opportunities/problems.

15. Quarterly marketing review presentation of all areas of responsibilities.

16. Bi-weekly activity report on status of promotional projects, show & event reports, sell-through activity, distribution status, trends and new developments.

Reporting to: Director of Sales & Marketing - Sealife

Qualifications:
1. Excellent communication skills to train, motivate inside and outside sales staff, including seminars, Power Point presentations and sales programs.

2. Sales experience in consumer products related to trade and above responsibilities.

3. Proficient in Windows programs (Word, Excel, and Power Point).

4. Frequent travel required; 30% to 60% in field work (customers, reps, trade shows and events)

5. College degree in business, sales and marketing.

6. Experience in digital photography desired.

7. Dynamic, punctual, dependable and physically fit to satisfy job demands.
